Family policies
Meals come first, because it's the question families ask most. The rest is what a family asks before the first day.
Meals, snacks and allergies
Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are cooked in our own kitchen. Tell us about any allergy at the tour; once you enroll, we ask again in private. Families of infants bring the milk or formula.
Photos of your child
We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.
When to keep your child home
Please keep your child home with a fever, vomiting, diarrhea or a rash we don't recognize, and bring them back after a full day without symptoms. If your child gets sick here, we call you right away so someone can come.
Drop-off and pickup
A teacher hands each child to you at the room door. We release a child only to the people on your pickup list, and we ask for ID from anyone we don't know.
Late pickup
If you'll be late, call the front desk and tell us. If pickup runs past closing time, Xiaoling talks with you in person; the rule is in writing when you enroll.
Naps and safe sleep
Infants sleep on their backs, in their own cribs, with nothing else in the crib. Toddlers and older children rest on cots, at the time each one needs.
Closures for weather and holidays
We close on the holidays on our calendar, including Lunar New Year. If weather or anything else closes us, we tell you by text message.
Leaving the program
We ask for two weeks' notice before your child leaves, in writing or in person.
