The rooms
What each room is like
Infants and toddlers
Floor play, songs and board books, with naps and bottles on each child's own rhythm. Lujain leads the room and keeps a note for you at pickup.
6 weeks to 2 years
Full day, five days a week
Each baby sleeps in their own crib
Twos
A play kitchen, blocks and the first art table. Story time begins here, with Jingyi, in English and in Mandarin.
2 to 3 years
Full day or half day
Lunch at low tables, family style
Threes
Circle time, paint, a reading corner and helping jobs. Jingyi moves between the Twos and the Threes, so children know her face when they move up.
3 to 4 years
Full day or half day
Outdoor play in the fenced yard
Fours
Longer stories, counting games and the Friday dumpling table, where the Fours fold dumplings for the whole center.
4 to 5 years
